This project is a mobile app redesign of Zoom's home page. It was done in Figma, an interface design tool. Before designing my chosen screens of choice, I had to complete some research on Zoom and find out more about the issues found in their mobile app interface. I went online and read on reviews written by the public about Zoom's mobile app and even checked it out on my own. Overall, the main problem was the amount of empty spaces and the lack of Zoom's colours in the app. Thus, my design was aimed towards making use of these empty areas and adding more of Zoom's colours throughout the screens I had chosen.
As I designed the screens, I focused on utilising more of Zoom's blue and making the buttons bigger with rounded edges for a friendlier look, applying this to the other screens as well. I kept the design simple, to allow for easier navigation and for the colours to stand out more. Other than redesigning the home page, I had to also design a website promoting the change for both desktop and mobile. Again, I made sure to keep the designs cohesive and give it the same treatment as I did with the mobile app as well.
